Trophy List

There are many trophies to be won each season to reward our members for their efforts during the year.

The trophies range from Club and Grade champions, to most fish and heaviest fish in several categories as well as our miscellaneous trophies

Trophy	Description
Club Champion	The member who attains the highest point total from 10 trips during the season
Grade Champions	The members who attain the highest points total within their respective Grade or Age Category
Barry Ferguson - Best Boat	Presented in honour of one of our founding members and donated by members of his family, this trophy is fished on our break-up trip in November held on Moreton Island and is awarded to the 2 fisherman with the highest overall combined points total. The fun part is that the teams are randomly selected before the competition begins.
Memorial Shield	One of the most sought after trophies in the club this trophy is awarded to the members who weighs in the 5 heaviest Whiting during our break-up trip in November
Russo Family Memorial	Presented in honour of one of our long serving members and dontated by members of his family, this trophy is awarded to the member who weighs in the heaviest bag of Whiting during the annual Bribie Island competition.
Heaviest Bream/Whiting	Awarded to the member who weighs in the heaviest combination of 1 Bream and 1 Whiting on any of the trips during the year
Heaviest Fish	Presented to the member who weighs in the heaviest fish of any eligible species
5 Heaviest Dart	Awarded to the member who weighs in the 5 heaviest Dart on any of the trips during the year
Heaviest Tailor	Awarded to the member who weighs in the heaviest Tailor on any of the trips during the year
Most Fish in 1 trip	Presented to the member who weighs in the most fish on any of the trips during the year
Most Variety Moreton Island	Awarded to the member who catches the most variety of species of fish on any of the trips staged at Moreton Island
Young Guns vs Old Guard	While not strictly a trophy is provides bragging rights to the victors. This award is fished on the break-up trip. The teams are selected by choosing 50% or members on the trip with the younger half being "Young Guns" and the senior half being "Old Guard" with the victor being determined by the highest total combined points for each team.
Heaviest Fish by Species	These trophies are awarded to the heaviest fish of each species of Whiting, Bream and Flathead. Trophies are awarded for each Grade and Age Category giving a total of 18 trophies in this category
3 Heaviest Fish by Species	These trophies are awarded to the 3 heaviest fish of each Species of Whiting and Bream weighed in on a single trip. Trophies are awarded for each Grade and Age Category giving a total of 12 trophies in this category
Most Fish	Awarded to the member in each Grade and Age Category with the highest combined total of fish weighed in for the season
Most Fish by Species	Presented to the member in each Grade and Age Category with the highest total of Whiting, Bream, Flathead or Tailor weighed in for the season
Most Fish other than Whiting, Bream or Flathead	Awarded to the member who has the highest combined total of fish that were not Whiting, Bream or Flathead weighed in for the season.
